Marvin L. Rader first started practicing law in 1979, after leaving his former job as a mathematics engineer for Lockheed (a NASA contractor). While working for Lockheed, he pursued his legal interests to eventually earn a law degree from the South Texas College of Law. Initially the firm started out relatively small, but after numerous legal successes the firm began to grow. Frederick Fuhr later joined the law firm and achieved many legal accomplishments of his own.

Marvin Rader holds a mathematics degree from the University of Texas and a law degree from the South Texas College of Law. Frederick Fuhr has a B.A. in economics from Rice University and a law degree from the South Texas College of Law.
